Newborn babies will go through 18-24 cloth diapers per day, as newborns have tiny bladders and wet frequently. If you will be laundering every other day, 36 diapers are recommended, so that you will have some to use while the others are being laundered.

If you choose to have a smaller quantity of diapers and launder them more frequently, keep in mind that they will wear out faster as they are being laundered more.

One-size diapers are an economical choice, as you do not need to purchase 36 diapers for each size as baby grows.
